In order to enrich the extracurricular life of international students in school during the epidemic prevention and control period and promote their further perception of Chinese culture, School of International Education organized a calligraphy competition of “Learning Chinese and Writing Chinese Characters" for international students in Classroom 409, Boya Building at Zhonghua Road Campus. Foreign students from different countries expressed their love for Chinese calligraphy culture by freely using brush, ink, paper and inkstone. The whole activity was in a good atmosphere and enjoyable.

Through this activity, students further experienced the long-standing charm of Chinese calligraphy art, and added an understanding of Chinese culture. The students also expressed that they should continue to understand and learn the art of calligraphy, and bring it to their own countries for dissemination, so that more people can understand and appreciate it.
