On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of our university, delegations from cooperative colleges and universities in Russia, Poland and Taiwan, China and other countries and regions were invited to visit our university. On the afternoon of the 15th, a "Welcoming Ceremony for the 70th Anniversary of Liaoning Technical University and a "Signing Ceremony of Cooperation Agreement between Liaoning Technical University and Kuzbas National University of Technology of Russia" were held at the International Conference Center of Zhonghua Road Campus.
President Liang Bing delivered a speech on behalf of all the teachers and students at the welcoming ceremony for foreign guests. She warmly welcomed and thanked the delegation of foreign guests for their special visit to our school to attend the 70th anniversary celebration. She emphasized that our university has carried out extensive exchanges and cooperation with foreign universities for a long time and achieved remarkable results. In the future, we will carry out more extensive and pragmatic cooperation in personnel training, academic exchanges, cultural friendship and inheritance, and work hand in hand to seek common development and create a better future.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation of foreign guests, President A. A.Krichetov of Kuzbas National University of Technology of Russia said that the first task of this trip to China is to attend the 70th anniversary of Liaoning Technical University and sign cooperation agreements with our university. Kuzbas National University of Technology and our university have many similarities in discipline construction, personnel training and scientific research. Signing cooperation agreements is only the first step for us to establish cooperation. In the future, we will have more extensive exchanges to provide strong talent support for the development of China and Russia.
Xu Ping, member of the Party Committee of the university, and the head of the relevant institutes participated in the "Welcoming Ceremony for the 70th Anniversary of Liaoning Technical University" and the "Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between Liaoning Technical University and Kuzbas National University of Technology of Russia". The welcoming ceremony and signing ceremony were presided over by Sun Wei, Dean of School of International Education.
