On the afternoon of March 7, School of International Education held a spring school opening ceremony for foreign students on the third floor of  International Conference Center in 2019. More than 50 students from Russia, Dominica, Vietnam, Jordan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Congo, Rwanda, Zambia and Zimbabwe were welcomed.

President Liang Bing briefed us on the current situation of running our school and international cooperation in running our school. She encouraged foreign students to learn the profound Chinese culture and appreciate the "Sun Stone Spirit" of "simple and unadorned, tenacious and selfless dedication" of our school, so as to grow into a better self. The representatives of the students and the freshmen spoke separately.

Among the students ,some of them have won scholarships from the Chinese Government and Liaoning Provincial Government, some are excellent students from the "Central European Credit Program" of the Chinese Government selected by the Russian National Geological and Prospecting University, some are exchange students of the intercollegiate exchange program between our university and the Russian Bergorod National University, and some are the first batch of undergraduates from Asia and Africa taught in English medium.
