On the morning of January 17, the signing ceremony of the tripartite cooperation agreement between the university and the enterprises was held in the International Conference Center with Uzbek Coal Co., Ltd. and Shenyang Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. of China Coal Science and Technology Group. According to the agreement, the three parties will establish a long-term comprehensive partnership, carry out all-round, multi-level and wide-ranging cooperation in areas of common interest, and jointly carry out exchanges in the fields of mining technology, safety production management and industry training.
Mao Jun, Deputy President of our school, pointed out that the next step is to provide intellectual services and scientific and technological support for the long-term development of Uzbekistan Coal Company in accordance with the cooperation agreement. Mr. X. H. Abdullayev, Vice General Manager of Uzbekistan Coal Company hoped School-enterprise tripartite can further develop talent training in many fields and the head of Shenyang Design and Research Institute of China of Coal Science and Technology Group said that it would provide personnel training and technical support services for Uzbekistan Coal Company.
In July 2017, our school, together with Uzbek Coal Co., Ltd. and Shenyang Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. of China Coal Science and Technology Group, approved the Silk Road Scholarship Program by the Ministry of Education of China for the project of "Excellent Mining Engineers in Urgent Needs" in Uzbekistan, which has become the largest number of students enrolled in a single project since the establishment of the Silk Road Scholarship.
