On the afternoon of November 21, the Student Department, the Public Security Department, the General Affairs Department, the Logistics Group of Fuxin Campus and the Academic Affairs Department jointly organized fire safety knowledge and skills training and fire drills. The overseas students of our school participated in the training and fire drills.
Shen Xiaolian, deputy director of the guidance section of Fuxin Fire Bureau, preaches fire fighting knowledge from three aspects: enhancing fire safety awareness, fire fighting equipment and how to use, escape methods and skills. Subsequently, a safety evacuation simulation drill was conducted on the spot. When the alarm whistle sounded, the foreign students in our school quickly evacuated from the classroom, and the whole evacuation process was fast but not disorderly. Then a fire fighting simulation drill was conducted. The foreign students practised using fire extinguishers according to the instructor's requirements, and consolidated the basic knowledge they learned.
This activity has increased the awareness of fire protection of the overseas students in our college, which is conducive to improving the ability of teachers and students to escape from the fire, rescue each other and deal with emergencies, and has achieved the expected goal.
