From September 19 to 20, Liang Bing and his delegation visited Japan's Josai University and Josai International University, and held talks with the president of Josai University, Motoyuki Ono, and Kenji Sugibayashi the president of Josai International University. On September 21st and 22nd, Liang Bing and her party came to Sendai for a working visit to the Tohoku Industrial University of Japan. The delegation was warmly received by the president and vice president of Tohoku Industrial University. During the talks, the two sides reviewed and summarized the achievements of cooperation in the past few years. On the basis of the original framework and foundation of the China-Japan Technical Cooperation Research Center for Structural Aseismic and Disaster Prevention, the two schools have continuously expanded their cooperation fields, jointly trained more than 20 graduate students in the field of building structures, and developed and shaped anti-seismic materials and structures for buildings. We have jointly organized two international academic conferences, and a number of research achievements which have been patented. Both Chinese and Japanese school presidents expressed their good vision of common development and brilliant future cooperation. They have established an all-round partnership in the form of cooperation agreements, and have made it clear that their goals and implementation plans of high-level personnel training, faculty building, joint scientific research projects and joint running school in the next five year.
