From September 19 to 20, Liang Bing and his delegation visited Japan's Josai University and Josai International University, and held talks with the president of Josai University, Motoyuki Ono, and Kenji Sugibayashi the president of Josai International University. On behalf of Josai University and Josai International University, President Ono extended cordial greetings and warm welcome to our delegation. He highlighted the development history and current situation of Josai University and Josai International University, their school-running concepts, special majors, personnel training, scientific research and international school-running as well as the their achievements, he also expressed their strong desire to exchange and cooperate with our university. President Liang Bing highly appreciated and affirmed the strength and education level of Josai University and Josai International University. She pointed out that it was the second time in the year that Mr. Ono had met with her and that every time they met, new sparks of thought would be generated. Although the relationship between Liaoning Technical University and Japan's Josai University and Josai International University has not been established for a long time, both universities are seeking truth and are actively promoting the deep integration and coordinated development of high-quality educational resources in the fields of architectural engineering, information and computational science etc. She hoped that the two schools would make joint efforts to explore further exchanges and cooperation in the reform and innovation of personnel training mode, incubation and sharing of scientific and technological achievements, international joint education and joint training of "English plus Japanese" multi-lingual talents.       On September 21st and 22nd, Liang Bing and her party came to Sendai for a working visit to the Tohoku Industrial University of Japan. The delegation was warmly received by the president and vice president of Tohoku Industrial University. During the talks, the two sides reviewed and summarized the achievements of cooperation in the past few years. On the basis of the original framework and foundation of the China-Japan Technical Cooperation Research Center for Structural Aseismic and Disaster Prevention, the two schools have continuously expanded their cooperation fields, jointly trained more than 20 graduate students in the field of building structures, and developed and shaped anti-seismic materials and structures for buildings. We have jointly organized two international academic conferences, and a number of research achievements which have been patented. Both Chinese and Japanese school presidents expressed their good vision of common development and brilliant future cooperation. They have established an all-round partnership in the form of cooperation agreements, and have made it clear that their goals and implementation plans of high-level personnel training, faculty building, joint scientific research projects and joint running school in the next five year.       Through visiting colleges and universities in Japan, our school has deepened its understanding and trust with Japan's Josai University, Josai International University, Tohoku Institute of Technology  and other Japanese universities, which strengthened our friendship, consolidated the achievements of exchanges and cooperation with high-level universities in Japan, and laid a solid foundation for further cooperation.
