On October 17, 2017, the lunching ceremony of the international cultural month initiated by the office of International Education of our university was held on the University Zhonghua Road Campus playground. At the ceremony, Professor Xu Ping, dean of the School of International Education, expressed his hope for the foreign students. He hoped that overseas students can learn not only language and professional knowledge through their study in our university, but also hope that they can experience Chinese rich culture and integrate into campus life.

After the ceremony, a friendly soccer match between Chinese and foreign students jointly organized by the School of International Education and the School of Mining was officially opened. On the field of play, players from different countries played with skills and enthusiasm, and the wonderful goals scored were cheered all over the field. The enthusiasm of the audience was constantly ignited by wonderful plays from the players. After a fierce competition, the international student team won the match.

The international cultural month builds a communication platform for Chinese and foreign students and promotes communication between them. It expands the international understanding of Chinese students and deepens the understandingof Chinese culture by the foreign students. Through the friendly football match, many foreign and Chinese students have become good friends and deepen their understanding of each other. Both Chinese and foreign students continue to looking forward to the next game.
