On November 14 in 2016, the inaugural Sino-Russian cultures week of LNTU which had been hosted jointly by the Office of  the International  Exchange and Cooperation , the Mining College and the Surveying and Mapping and Geographical Science College had been ended successfully. The main contents of the communication activities of  the Sino-Russian cultures week for 10-day had been including the basketball match ,the cooking competition of the Sino-Russian , the Chinese Calligraphy ,the paper cutting craft show and the traditional instrumental folk music of China.
In the basketball match, the team members of the Sino-Russian were in high spirits and the audiences were more passion floating in the sky. Based on the principle of the friendship first and the competition second, the match had been being in full swing, and it enhanced the athletes physical quality, at the same time it also improved the friendship between China and Russia. In the cooking competitions, the Russian students was interested in the Chinese traditional food including dumplings  and steamed buns, and learned to roll faces and cook the steamed buns. After the match all the Chinese and foreign students and workers tasted their own works racily together, the scene atmosphere was in harmony;
The  Hong Yue teacher of the paper-cut institute in Fuxin, Liaoning Province made a detailed explanation from the origin of the paper-cut and the forms of the expression to the art genre etc. And it made students to understand the Chinese paper-cut art all-around through a lot of work evaluation and the field presentation. In the paper cutting practice, the teacher taught the students hand by hand, and the students also learned the traditional folk art with the strong culture seriously. In the Chinese Calligraphy show, Hou Guangxun teacher patiently explained to the students from the origin of the Chinese characters to the development and the formation, from the posture of holding the pen to the skills of the stroke writing, and the students couldn’t wait to wave the brush in their hands, and they wrote down “I love China.”, “China and Russian are good friends.” by their less skilled Chinese characters. The fragrance of the ink not only improved the students the understanding of the Chinese Calligraphy, realized the unique charm of the Chinese art, also cultivated their noble sentiment. The most warm scene atmosphere was the traditional instrumental folk music show practice, it made the students amazing that was the music of the Drunken Beauty song by the Bai Hong teacher who is in the Peking Opera troupe of Fuxin and the Peking Opera actor the National level. Subsequently, Chinese students show their talents to play the flute, pipa and the accordion to Russian friends who are from faraway countries. The Russian student Yi Lianna are to be outdone, and sang a unique Russian-style song. Finally, Xu Ping, the director of the office international exchange and cooperation played the flute “I am a soldier”, with this activity to culmination. During the Sino-Russian cultures exchange symposium, the student Ivan introduced the characteristics of  Russian food, traditional festivals and cultural customs,  the students of the Sino-Russian started  discussions and exchanges on traditional culture, language, and art.
It not only enhanced the friendship between the Chinese and the Russian students effectively, and deepened the feelings between each other , but also promoted the education communication and cooperation between the Chinese and the Russian universities greatly through the series of communication activities of this Sino-Russian cultures week. At the same time, it also laid the solid foundation for expanding the Russian channel further of our school and establishing of the Sino-Russian cultures communication center.
