From August 1 to 8, 2016, the vice president Prof. Zhang Zuogang, director of the office of international exchange and cooperation Prof. Xu Ping, dean of college of  civil and transportation Prof. Zhang Xiangdong, director of Discipline Development Department Prof. Song Weidong, vice dean of college of Business Administration Prof. Li Naiwen and other five people visited the Vietnam and Cambodia for 8 days in the invitation of Vietnamese Coal and Minerals Industry Group, Vietnamese Energy and Machinery Research Institute, Quang Ninh Industry University and Cambodian Southeast Asian University,.
During their visiting to Cambodia, the delegation met with the vice president Mr. ROUS BUNTHY of the Cambodian Southeast Asia University. Firstly, the two sides summarized the work about carrying out  exchange and cooperation in a few yeas, since the establishment of inter-university cooperative relations in 2012, our university had received three young teachers from Southeast Asia University to study for a doctorate degree, and one of which had been successfully graduated, two was still in university. The two sides jointly organized the forum of " Reform and Development of Management Science and Engineering Curriculum " laid a solid foundation for the next step to carry out two-stage MBA training. After visiting the library and other teaching implementation of the university, the vice president Zhang Zuogang pointed out: Cambodian Southeast Asia University was closed to the world natural heritage - Angkor Wat, the high-level personnel training of tourism management was distinctive features in the use of location and tourism resources, but also it had been the focus of deep cooperation between the two sides.
During their visiting to Vietnam, the delegation successively visited the Vietnamese enterprises, research institutes and institutions of higher learning which have been cooperating with our university for a long time, and received the hospitality from the Vietnam Alumni Association graduates. During visiting the Vietnamese Energy and Machinery Research Institute, the vice president Zhang Zuogang signed the “Agreement on Designers and Coal Preparation Equipment Training Course” with the President of the Institute on behalf of our university, the two sides continued to focus on the implementation of energy and mechanical equipment design, manufacturing, research and scientific research cooperation and personnel training and so on. During visiting the Vietnamese Coal and Minerals Industry Group, the Vice president of Vietnamese Coal Group Mr Ruan Wenbian exchanged views with the delegation  in-depth and signed the “Agreement on the Training Course for Mine Ventilation and Mine Water Disaster Prevention and Technical Personnel”, and further clearly established the university-enterprise comprehensive cooperative partnership to clarify the establishment of serving  the coal industry , production and research as the core. During visiting Vietnamese Quang Ninh Industry University, the delegation exchanged views with the president of the university Mr Ruan Dexing on the construction of the Ha Long bay Campus and the specific issues of  overseas students training .
It  is very significant for enhancing the internationalization and international influence of the mining and management disciplines of this visiting, and it would deepen the exchange and cooperation between our university and the higher learning and scientific research institutions of  Southeast Asia countries in Vietnam, Cambodia and so on .
