At 9:00 on April 19, the vice-president Liang Bing met the four guests from Vietnamese coal mining industry group (the following: Vietnamese coal group) warmly at the third floor of conference room of the international conference center. The delegation included  the director of the labor and human resources department Pei Mengben, the vice director Wu Mingguang,  the president of the management university Fan Dengfu, the attache of the international exchange and cooperation office Ruan Shixiang who are from the Vietnamese coal mining industry group. There were the director of office of the international exchange and cooperation Xu Ping and other leaders from our university to attend.
On behalf of the university, President Liang expressed her highest respect and warm welcome to the delegation, and also asked the delegation to convey her greeting to the leader of the Vietnamese coal mining industry group. In her speech, she pointed that it gave full play to the advantages of strong geology and minetal characteristics of discipline based on running university in two cities and three campuses, and was the top in the province of science and engineering colleges for the Liao Ning Technical University in recent years. They cooperated for a long history and had frequent exchanges between the Liao Ning Technical University and the Vietnamese coal mining industry group, they achieved fruitful achievements in personnel training, scientific research, professional training and created a model of the higher education international exchange and cooperation in Liaoning Province. Therefore, it is often very kind and excited to see the Vietnamese guests like old friends. She believed that the cooperation and mutual benefits would be more in-depth, more specific and more time-sensitive under the joint efforts of both sides.
Firstly, the director Pei Mengben expressed the thanks to the university for their thoughtful arrangements and warm reception. He stressed that it left him a deep impression and good memory for the first time visiting in 2010,  and he met many old friends and feel more cordial during this special visiting. In 2015, the total revenue of the Vietnamese coal mining industry group reached 5 billion dollars, of which 37 million tons annual coal production, accounting for 74% of total coal production in Vietnam. Over the years,  the Liaoning Technical University has been the most important, intimate and trusted partner for the Vietnamese coal mining industry group. Since 2002, more than 90 students and more than 200 engineering and technical personnel recommended to the university to study and receive training by the Vietnamese coal mining industry group. The development and growth of the Vietnamese coal mining industry group benefited from the personnel training and professional training which gave support and help by Liao Ning Technical University, and he was confident of the prospects for future cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides also had exchanges in depth on training programs, mine environmental management, mine water and gas control technology and other research cooperation projects of the next cycle.
