From March 28 to April 2, the dean of the mining college Prof. Zhang Hongwei, the director of the personnel department Prof. Shan Yafei, the director of the mining geology vice-Prof. Chen Jianping and the mining college vice-Prof. Chen Jianping were invited to visit the Russian National Geological Prospecting University friendly.
During visiting to the Russian National Geological Prospecting University, the first vice president E.C. Kusari and the vice president of international affairs B.A. Kasyanov  of the Russian National Geological Prospecting University had met with the delegation from our university. The vice president E.C. Kusari expressed the sincere greetings and warm welcome to the delegation of  our university on behalf of the Russian National Geological Prospecting University, and he introduced the basic information of the Russian National Geological Prospecting University briefly, and hoped to promote the substantive cooperation with our university comprehensively based on the cooperation framework agreement which had signed with our university last year. The director of the mining institute Zhang Hongwei expressed his gratitude to the National Geological Prospecting University for their warm reception, and then he exchanged views on substantive exchange and cooperation  about the students joint training, the mutual visits of teachers, cooperation in scientific research, laboratories and the geological museum construction and the other aspects after introducing our university based information with the first vice president E.C. Kusari and the vice president of international affairs B.A. Kasyanov. The director Shan Yafei communicated on the problems of the teacher treatment who come from Russian National Geological Prospecting University to China to train for the Russian language preparatory training problem of the undergraduates, and introduced the conditions for the talents introduction.
During the visiting, the delegation from our university participated in the 13th International Geological and Mineral Exhibition which held on the Russian National Geological Prospecting University. They visited the history exhibition, the academic center, the museum of geology and mineral resources, underground simulation mine, the mineral processing laboratory, gemstone processing laboratory and rock and rock analysis and test laboratories. The two university would intensify their cooperation and make full use of their respective advantages to realize the powerful combination, synergy and innovation, and jointly promoted the to build a world-class subject, continued to expand cooperation in the field of talent training and scientific research between China and Russia.
