On December 1, the  scholarship results of Chinese excellent foreign students organized by the Ministry of Education in 2015 had been announced. The Pakistani foreign students RIZWAN ALI and Vietnamese students Wushi shansong recommended by our university had been on the list,  each one get the one-time award 30 thousands yuan approved by  the Ministry of Education. The program of scholarship of excellent foreign students  was awarded to full-time students of grade 2 or above in graduate university who are enrolled in the Chinese Government Scholarships. The scholarship program amounted to 200 nationwide. It aimed at motivating students to study hard, to forge ahead, to enhance the overall level of study in China.
In 2008 and 2012 our university was approved to become the Liaoning provincial government scholarships to receive institutions and the Chinese government scholarships autonomous enrollment of qualified institutions. In recent years, it always adhered to the "expansion of the scale, optimizing the structure, ensuring quality, standardizing management," for the work of foreign students principles and development goals, absorbed work philosophy of the characteristics to living, innovation to develop, explored the diversified characteristics of studying in China earnestly, gave full play to the characteristics of geology and mineral resources, built up the characteristics of international students' education with effort, innovated the management mode of international students, and gradually went out of the characteristic development of  science and engineering colleges.
The two foreign students in our university had won the scholarships of the Ministry of Education, it was not only the individual honor of the students, but also the highly recognition and praise of the Ministry of Education for the quality of the foreign students training and the work in our university.
Introduction to award - winning students:
RIZWAN ALI: male, Pakistan, the doctoral student of Liaoning Provincial government scholarships of 2013 grade in our university, his instructor is Prof. Gao Leifu of science college; during studying in university, published three high-level academic papers in 《International Journal of Learning & Development》,《The Journal of Applied Business Research》,《The 51st Annual MBAA International Conference Proceedings》; awarded the innovation project 1 item of the fifth postgraduate in Liao Ning Technical University.
Wushi Shansong: male, Vietnam, the postgraduate of Chinese government scholarships of 2013 grade in our university, the foreign union president; his instructor is Prof. Song Weihua of the mining college; during studying in university, published four high-level academic papers in 《Journal of China Coal Society》,《Inner Mongolia Coal Economy》；had organized "The third, fourth foreign students cultural festival in Liao Ning Technical University " and other large-scale activities.
